Wedding invites

Our wedding invitations were already delivered today. We were actually been waiting for this so we can start distributing our invites. Wingdingz actually met the deadline for our invites. My H2B is very happy with the finished product. It was a simple invite that incorporate our team and color motif as well. Just a few snapshoots of our invitation. So folks will see then to hand this personally to you.

Church requirements and Wedding Preps

Yesterday we went to Intramuros again to submit all our final requirement for the Church. Our pending documents were H2B's baptismal certificate from their Church, Certificate of Freedom to Marry and the Mixed Marriage application form from Manila Chancery office. Yes, all of that were the requirements for a mixed marriage (Catholic and Non-Catholic Couple for a Catholic Rites). At first we have our problem as to the compeltion of those documents. But, God really work in mysterious ways. Through the help of those people around us, we were able to secure the documents before our deadline. The only remaining document for me is the Marriage Banns from my parish church. After giving them all to San Agustin we have been given a proof that all of the requirements and documents have been submitted and completed. Super relieved kame ni H2B!!!

Our next stop was Ilustrado. We went there to pay and confirm our final booking for our hotel preps on the wedding day itself. Pia our AE was there, she always busy and though we have not set an appointment with her that time we are not expecting to see her sa Ilustrado coz we have our other AE, Ohna :-). Pia, did accompanied us to their coffee shop to talk. we have some detailing for the big day. And then we paid in full the hotel to which we are having our preparations during the day. Indeed our heart belongs to Manila Hotel!!! We have booked their newly renovated rooms, we got the bayview area for a nice facade!!!

Hotel...Hotel..Hotel

Last Monday during H2B's birthday we had our occular with hotel in Manila for our wedding preparations. To start of:

MANILA HOTEL

Five star hotel. With its beauty and grandeur you will be mesmerize by this hotel. This is the first one we checked. The hotel is very accessible and really near our church. When you enter their lobby , it was spacious and realy awesome. Some pictures below to autenticate the beauty of the lobby of Manila Hotel.

After almost 15 minutes of waiting. We were escorted to the rooms for checking. We proceed to their newly renovated rooms overlooking Manila bay. Cool!!!

Superior deluxe with twin bed
Manila Hotel's newly renovated rooms now offer a unique modern amenities for the guest such as LCD TVs, Italian marble bath, premium bathroom amenities, iLuvmp3 docks, waterproof LCD TV in the bathrooms, in-room safes and VingCard electronics.

Ilustrado also has a special rate with Manila Hotel. If you book their superior deluxe room you'll also get. Complimentary breakfast for 2, free use of sauna, gym and pool. Free internet access as well.

Though we have already our heart with Manila hotel. We still look for another. next stop.

DIAMOND HOTEL

This hotel has an amzing architecture. It may not have the grandiose as the Manila Hotel but as to the quality and ambiance they are comparable. We have been assisted by their Hotel receptionist to check the rooms.

Regency King (45 sqm room)

The rooms at Diamond hotel are quite spacious compared to Manila Hotel. We love the executive suite since is has a full view of Manila bay. This is really an ideal for wedding preparations. However, it is really that expensive. Not practical to splurge on that amount for just a day *sigh*

Now our for the next hotel. We visited G Hotel along Roxas Blvd. I heard a lot of good feedback on this hotel. They said that this is just a new hotel and very affordable.

G hotel is affordable in terms of rate. However, according to my "photography enthusiast" H2B there were lot of spots in Manila Hotel as well as Diamond hotel that can be used in pictorial for wedding preps. Now we have to decide which of the two we have to book. Both have special rate with Ilustrado.

Finally my....SHOES!!!!

I have asked perfect match to have my shoes on the 15th or 16th of January in time for my next fitting with my couturier. Then saturday evening I got a text message from Ms. Mari that my shoes is ready for pick up the next morning. I was thrilled, can't imagine that they can deliver the shoes a week ahead than expected.

So, last Sunday we went to megamall to meet with Mari for the bridal shoes. I was so excited to see my custom made shoes.

According to Rvee, my shoes just look so simple. Yes, I want it simple though. Rvee wanted to have swarovski stone designed to the shoes. Good thing Mari suggested we buy detachable brooch at Carolinas to attached to the shoes. So, we bought one to embelish to my shoes.

I love my shoes. Perfect match didn't fail me!!! Highly recommended. :-)

Mock Set up

We are scheduled to go to Intramuros today. However, H2B has a prior enggagement. He has a photoshoot, together with his photography clubmates. So, I have no choice but to go to Ilustrado alone :-)

When I arrived at Ilustrado they were preparing for a wedding reception. This time it will be held at the Sinagtala Ballroom. I wasn't able to see the set-up. After a while I was accompanied by my AE to their garden venue for my mock-up set up for the floral arrangement for our reception.

First option

First option- more of our theme coz of the twigs

I was also able to meet with the florist Cesar Pascual of contemporary florals. He told me that he will include more yellow and orange flowers to match with our theme and motif. The centerpiece looks fabulous to me and I love it. So, what have we choose??? well, see it on our wedding day!
